Melvin A. Poulson, 59, of Toledo, OH, died Sunday, September 3, 2017. Born August 7, 1958, in Fayetteville, NC, he was the son of Carl L. and Joanne I. (Goldi) Poulson. A 1977 graduate of Woodward High School, he then served his country in the US Army. Melvin was a truck driver for 20 years, retiring in 2015. He married Beth Davis on August 3, 1996. Melvin enjoyed fishing, University of Michigan Football, gardening, watching the Alaskan Bush People, but most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Beth; son, Bill “Bubba” (Jessi) Poulson; sister, Carol Richter; brother-in-law, Bob Richter, mother-in-law, Nancy Davis, Dayzee Mae and a host of nieces and nephews and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Butch Poulson.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Thursday, September 7, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 8, 2017. Pastor Andrew Edwards, III, officiating.
